Lucid Athlete founders requested a research and design exploration to imagine and prioritize engaging features while maintaining ease of use and aesthetic appeal.
Technical scoping provided an understanding of the effort required for each feature. Kano analysis further clarified the desirability of each feature. We started with 114 feature sketches, which were categorized and reduced to 13 through voting. These 13 features were the focus of a Kano survey. The results from 13 participants were mapped and synthesized. This quantitative analysis was instrumental in prioritizing the features.
The client allocated 30 points of effort for the initial scope of work. I recommended exceeding this by one point to achieve the highest level of customer expectations, both initially and across three sprints.
